PURPOSE: An integral remote diagnosis system for a portable terminal for a medical specialist and a hospital and a system operation method by using a docking station for monitoring medical history and a state of a patient are provided to conveniently monitor the patient by installing a docking station capable of detachably attaching the portable terminal for the medical specialist. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal for a medical specialist comprises as follows. An external equipment state monitoring unit(220) monitors a connected state of the outside multimedia device. The external equipment state monitoring unit removes or restores a docking station connecting filter necessary for a remote medical treatment service. An automatic recovering unit(240) automatically restores a multimedia data communication service.
