SHIP WITH A BALLAST TANK ENABLING THE SEAWATER STREAMING, CAPABLE OF PREVENTING THE OCEAN POLLUTION BY THE BALLAST WATER IN THE BALLAST TANK

PURPOSE: A ship with a ballast tank enabling the seawater streaming is provided to restrain the cost increase by eliminating the need to install a separate ballast water treatment device at the ballast tank.;CONSTITUTION: A ship with a ballast tank enabling the seawater streaming comprises a ballast tank. The ballast tank is formed so that the front and the rear of the tank are opened. At the ballast tank, through-holes(120) are respectively formed at the front end and the rear end of the tank. A door(130) is installed at each through-hole to open and close. An open/close drive unit enables the door to open and close the through-holes. The open/close drive unit comprises a piston rod and a cylinder. A guide unit is provided around the through-holes to guide the sliding of the door. A sealing member is installed at one or both of the sides with which the door and the guide unit contact.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
