PURPOSE: A direction conversion device structure of a self-operating steel mold is provided to move the smooth movement and to prevent damage to a roller in the movement. CONSTITUTION: A direction conversion device structure of a self-operating steel mold comprises a lining form, a needle beam, a longitudinal direction sliding unit, a lateral sliding unit, and a hydraulic cylinder(50). The lining form comprises an elastic leg and a through path on which both ends are opened and closed. The through path comprises a traveler box(10) formed by a separation protection bar(30). The traveler box comprises a traveler(20) in inside, and the needle beam is penetrated and inserted in the center of the traveler. The needle beam comprises the elastic leg and penetrated and inserted to move the passage to the vertical direction. The longitudinal direction sliding unit is formed in the contact part of the inner traveler wall and the outer needle beam wall. The sliding unit is formed on the top-down contact part of the outer wall and inner passage wall. The hydraulic cylinder connected to the traveler and the traveler box is horizontally installed.
