PURPOSE: A solar cell with a rear metallization on the same plane is provided to obtain a rear metallization structure with a flat surface by forming a rear field metallization layer and a soldering pad metallization layer.;CONSTITUTION: A semiconductor substrate(41) comprises a rear side(43). A rear field metallization layer(46-1) is arranged on a first part(43-1) of the rear side. The rear field metallization layer substantially covers the consecutive region of the rear side. The rear field metallization layer comprises a first flat surface(46-11) part and a first edge part(46-12). A soldering pad metallization layer(48-1) is arranged on a second part of the rear side.
