PURPOSE: A both-sided liquid crystal display device in a folder type mobile phone is provided to confirm the operation state of a mobile phone when a folder is closed or opened through a first and a second LCD.;CONSTITUTION: A both-sided LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a sensor, a control unit, a first and second LCD driving units(14), and a first and second LCDs(16,18). The sensor detects the opening and closing state of a mobile phone. The sensor outputs a sensing signal. The control unit receives the opening and closing state sensing signals of the folder from the sensor. The first and the second LCD driving units receive a first and a second LCD drive control signals from the control unit.
