PURPOSE: A formation method of a graphite substrate phase oxidation-resistant ceramics is provided to optimize the porosity, the reaction time, and the reaction temperature of graphite when synthesizing a coating layer.;CONSTITUTION: A formation method of a graphite substrate phase oxidation-resistant ceramics comprises the following steps: inserting a bare graphite substrate to a high temperature reaction chamber; inserting silicon powder and silicon dioxide powder to the high temperature reaction chamber, and supplying inactive gas and hydrogen gas; and heating the chamber for 3~9 hours in 1,400~1,600 deg C to form a SiC layer on the surface of the graphite substrate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
