PURPOSE: A refrigerator for rice is provided to prevent the generation of rice weevils in stored rice by keeping the rice at low temperature.;CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator for rice comprises a cabinet(20), a hopper, a hopper cover(40), a rice storage, a rice feed duct, a duct valve, and a rice receiver(80). The cabinet comprises a receiving portion cooled by a cooling unit and a door(25) opening and closing the receiving portion. The hopper is installed on the top of the cabinet. The rice storage is made from a material emitting far infrared rays and installed in the receiving portion to store the rice provided through the hopper. The rice feed duct is installed in the lower part of the cabinet and connected to the lower part of the rice storage. The duct valve opens and closes the rice feed duct. The rice receiver is installed in a recess formed on the lower part of the cabinet to receive the rice provided through the rice feed duct.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
