PURPOSE: A thiophene monomer containing diketone, polythiophene, polythiophene copolymer and metal-coordinated polythiophene complex and a method for preparing the same are provided, thereby improving the conduction properties, solubility and thermal stability of polythiophene derivatives. CONSTITUTION: The thiophene derivatives containing diketone represented by formula (1) are provided, wherein R1, R2, R3 and R4 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, hydroxyl, halogen, halide, C1-C50 alkyl, alkylhydroxy, alkylarylhydroxyl, arylhydroxyl, alkylcarboxyl, arylcarboxyl, alkylarylcarboxyl, alkylester, arylester, alkylarylester, haloalkyl, haloaryl, haloalkylaryl, nitroalkyl, nitroaryl, nitroalkylaryl, alkylamide, arylamide, alkylarylamide, cyanoalkyl, cyanoaryl and cyanoalkylaryl. The method for preparing the thiophene derivatives containing diketone of formula (1) comprises the steps of: tosylation of 2-(3-thienyl) of 2-(3-thienyl)ethanol; independently substituting R1, R2, R3 and R4 of hydroxy acetophenone of formula (1a) with a substituent selected from hydrogen, hydroxyl, halogen, halide, C1-C50 alkyl, alkylhydroxy, alkylarylhydroxyl, arylhydroxyl, alkylcarboxyl, arylcarboxyl, alkylarylcarboxyl, alkylester, arylester, alkylarylester, haloalkyl, haloaryl, haloalkylaryl, nitroalkyl, nitroaryl, nitroalkylaryl, alkylamide, arylamide, alkylarylamide, cyanoalkyl, cyanoaryl and cyanoalkylaryl; reacting the tosylated 2-(3-thienyl)acetone with substituted hydroxy acetophenone to prepare ketone containing compound; and reacting the ketone containing compound with ethyl acetate.
