A method for manufacturing a ceramic composite powder for a solid oxide fuel cell air electrode, and a ceramic composite powder prepared by the method are provided to make a ceramic composite powder having excellent composition and phase distribution uniformity within a short time by a polymer resin. A method for manufacturing a ceramic composite powder for a solid oxide fuel cell air electrode comprises the steps of preparing a ceramic first particle having a size of 80~120 nm; preparing a mixture solution comprising a metal salt of a ceramic second particle, a chelating agent, polyhydroxyl alcohol and a solvent to be coated on the surface of the ceramic first particle; mixing the mixture solution with the first particle; heating the mixture solution at a first temperature to form a metal ion complex and forming a polymer resin-first particle mixture by polyesterification; and heating the mixture at a second temperature to form a first particle-second particle composite powder comprising a second particle uniformly compounded on the surface of the first particle.
