PURPOSE: A device for tracking the position of freshwater-saltwater interface using a neutral buoyancy apparatus is provided to be easily inserted into a underwater observing well by a metal sticking to a magnet installed on the upper part of a buoyancy inducing member. CONSTITUTION: A device for tracking the position of freshwater-saltwater interface using a neutral buoyancy apparatus comprises a buoyancy inducting member(10), a wireless measurement sensor(20) and a porous pipe(30). The buoyancy inducing member comprises an airtight cap(14), a bracket(12) and a metal(15). The airtight cap is formed as a pipe having an internal space, its lower part is closed and its upper part is separable. The bracket comprises a penetration hole on its lower center. The buoyancy inducting member controls the amount of the distilled water accepted in the internal space to control the buoyancy force. The wireless measurement sensor is installed on the lower part of the buoyancy inducting member. The porous pipe is installed on the lower part of the buoyancy inducting member and surround the outside of the wireless measurement sensor. The device is located on the freshwater-saltwater interface and moves according to the change of the interface.
