PURPOSE: A flame detector and thereof remote controller, method to offer mounting state of flame detector are provided to reduce the dead zone by proving the information for the installation direction of the flame detecting apparatus to the user. CONSTITUTION: The laser LED(105) emits a laser. The communication unit(109) transmits the distance value measured by the distance measurement command to the external device. The laser light receiver(107) senses the laser reflected by the external structure. The controller(207) controls the laser LED and communication unit. The storage(209) stores the necessary communication identifier for communicating with the external device. The tilt sensor(111) senses the gradient change of the flame detecting apparatus.
