FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to therapy and rheumatology. The method consists as follows: risk factors are determined from the personal history and anthropometric indicators: body weight, height, body weight index, span, muscle strength of the left and right hands, length of back and hip, for girls - menarche age. With using the values of risk factors, the prognostic factors F1 and F2 are calculated by formulae separately for youths and girls, both for age 14 and 15 years old. If F1 is less than F2, high risk of low mineral density of bone tissue in 14-15 year-old teenagers is predicted, and if F1 exceeds F2, said risk is considered to be low.;EFFECT: method provides possibility of prediction of low mineral density of bone tissue with accuracy 93-100% that ensures detecting the risk groups in periodic health examinations.;1 tbl, 8 ex
