The device (10) has a first element (11) constituted of a Galilean escaping mechanism actuated by weight (16) attached to a flexible connection of the mechanism. The first element has a balance spring (26) pivoted around a pivoting axis. A second element (12) is constituted of a time displaying device comprising an elapsed time measurement scale (30). The weight is provided with fixed marker (31). The measurement scale is placed sensibly parallel to a path of the fixed marker linked with displacement of the weight.
