Actuator operating method for controlling internal combustion engine of vehicle, involves determining actuator temperature based on relation between dynamic characteristics of influencing unit and electrical parameter of electrical machine
The method involves determining temperature of an actuator based on a temperature-dependent functional relation between dynamic characteristics of a throttle body-cross section influencing unit and an electrical parameter i.e. voltage value, of a motor driven electrical machine (1). The influencing unit is connected with the electrical machine, where the dynamic characteristics of the influencing unit are defined by acceleration or velocity or path of a throttle body (3). Temperature is influenced as additional information for controlling the actuator.
