The method involves initiating heat removal from a ground by phase transformation of cooling agents (11). Heat from the ground is sectionally extracted. The heat from the ground is exchanged from a closed lower heat removal section to a closed upper heat removal section. The heat removal sections are filled with the cooling agents. The cooling agents are distributed inside the heat removal sections during percolating film evaporation on different depths of a geothermal probe (1). A heat exchanger is fixedly fitted in the geothermal probe. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for transporting heat from a geothermal probe.
