The gear (2) has a steering rod (7) including gear teeth (6) and twistable in a circumferential direction. The steering rod is slidably moveable in a longitudinal direction. The gear teeth are formed as a tooth module (14) running in the circumferential direction of the steering rod so that gear transmission ratio is generated between a steering pinion (4) and the gear teeth. The steering pinion is combined with the gear teeth. Channels of the tooth module are continuously formed in the circumferential direction.
