The tool has a swivel rocker (15) arranged at an interior of a tool holder, and rotatably supported around an axial longitudinal axis. The rocker is resiliently prestressed in an axial direction, and rocker bolts are arranged at a front side of the rocker. The rocker bolts are displaceably driven together by the rocker. The bolts of the rocker are engaged in a groove of a cutting body, and the rocker is raised and lowered against force of a screw spring (12) in a knife housing (2) of the tool. Spring tension of the spring is adjusted in a torsion direction in a controlled manner.
