The roller base body is arranged between the side disks, is not movable in a rotary axis direction and is fixedly connected with the rotary axis. The force supplying unit is provided between the roller base body and the side disk. The force supplying unit is provided between the roller base body and the side disk, and is a screw spring (46). The guiding pin is connected with the roller base body or the side disk, comprises a bore, which is provided in the roller base body or the side disk and is displaced into the bore. A prestressing unit such as a fixable spacer sleeve is provided on the rotary axis. The spacer sleeve limits the process path of the side disk against the force of the supplying unit. The roller base body has a cylindrical form. The side disk is equipped at edge side with a rounded roller edge. An independent claim is included for a tool or device for roll-forming a sheet metal strip.
