The resistive sensor has electrodes (4) provided at a matrix material, where a chopstick shaped electrically conductive particle (5) is dielectrophoretically aligned on a substrate (6) between the electrodes. Characteristics of the sensor are adjusted corresponding to a direction of the electrically conductive particle. The particle consists of metal, metal alloy, metal oxide, semiconductor, carbon nanotubes and carbon fiber, or tellurium. The matrix material consists of monomer or oligomer. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a resistive sensor for measuring temperature and infrared radiation.
