The device (10a) has a LED arrangement with a LED (11) transmitting light in a direction perpendicular to a front side of the arrangement. A reflection surface (24) and a light uncoupling surface (22) are aligned to each other such that a deflection arrangement (15) i.e. resolution lens, laterally deflects light rays of light bundles by a collimator lens (14) of a collimating arrangement. An intersection point arrangement lies in a volume and a surface that is stretched by an edge contour of the reflection surface, where the volume is limited by the reflection surface. An independent claim is also included for a lighting device having a light emitting device.
