The assembly (100) has a motor shaft (103) and an electrical steering wheel locking mechanism (200) engaged with a low torque side of an electrical steering system by a movable locking element in an engaging section of a locking clutch. The locking clutch is in effective connection with the motor shaft, and power supply control and operation management of the locking mechanism are performed by using hardware and software resources of a control/regulation unit i.e. controller (104), assigned to an electrical servo-assisted steering mechanism.
