The implant (1) has a surface coating provided with carrier layers (3-5), which rest on top of each other and carry pharmaceutical active agents. The carrier layers are dissolvable in a serum of a patient such that the pharmaceutical active agents are released from the carrier layers. The carrier layers exhibit different dissolubility in the serum of the patient, different additives, and different additive concentrations. The carrier layers are made of polymer in the form of hydrogel or denatured collagen.
