The wall panel (10) has a front covering plate (12) attached to large surface side of a supporting structure (11) and covering the supporting structure. A beam (13) sectionally has a specific shape, which forms a hollow space (14). The beam is attached to a front side of the supporting structure and to a lower side of the wall panel. The hollow space is formed as an opening installation channel between the supporting structure and the beam below the support construction in a direction of the front covering plate or a rear covering plate (15). An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a wall using a wall panel.
