The stopper device for the regulation of the flow of melt (100) from an intermediate container (10) through a cast tube into a continuous casting mold (20), comprises a stopper rod (2) having a stopper head (3) at its lower end that is formed in such a way that it locks inlet of the stopper tube, and two piezo-actuators that are connected with the stopper rod for shifting the stopper rod in oscillations. The cast tube is arranged at the lower side of an intermediate container. The piezo-actuator is formed in such a way that it stimulates the stopper rod to oscillation. The stopper device for the regulation of the flow of melt (100) from an intermediate container (10) through a cast tube into a continuous casting mold (20), comprises a stopper rod (2) having a stopper head (3) at its lower end that is formed in such a way that it locks inlet of the stopper tube, and two piezo-actuators that are connected with the stopper rod for shifting the stopper rod in oscillations. The cast tube is arranged at the lower side of an intermediate container. The piezo-actuator is formed in such a way that it stimulates the stopper rod to oscillation toward its longitudinal axis or it produces oscillations in ultrasound area, and is arranged in the stopper rod or in the upper part of the stopper rod. The stopper rod comprises a compressed air cooler for cooling the piezo-actuator. An independent claim is included for a continuous casting mold.
