The drive (10) has a belt e.g. tooth belt, and a belt pulley (22) coupled with a crankshaft (11) of an internal combustion engine by a friction element (14). The friction element is arranged between a primary side (12) and a secondary side (18) of a torsion vibration absorber (13). The primary and secondary sides of the torsion vibration absorber are clamped by spring elements e.g. tension springs (16, 17). The belt pulley is connected with the torsion vibration absorber by a flexible coupling element (20) e.g. elastomer. The friction element is formed as flexible friction clutch lining.
