The assembly (1) has a baking dish (3) comprising a complementary maintaining unit co-operating with a maintaining unit of an electrical cooking apparatus (2) i.e. electric barbecue, so as to maintain the baking dish in a recipient position and a covering position. An outer surface of a bottom wall (8) of the dish is turned downwards and at a distance from an upper cooking surface (5) of the apparatus, when the dish is in the recipient position. The outer surface of the bottom wall of the dish is turned upwards, when the dish in the covering position.
