PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode electrolysis treatment solution of stainless steel which imparts strong adhesiveness to a coating film to stainless steel, an undercoat treatment method using the anode electrolysis treatment solution of stainless steel, a treated stainless steel, and an electrodeposited stainless steel.;SOLUTION: The anode electrolysis treatment solution of stainless steel contains 1 to 30 wt.% of a metal salt and 1 to 20 wt.% of at least either an inorganic acid or an organic acid, with the balance being water.
