PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify the approach of one's own vehicle to a pedestrian without a sense of incongruity, even in an automobile of a high silence property such as a hybrid vehicle.;SOLUTION: A travel state acquiring part acquires a travel state of the vehicle, and a waveform adjusting part produces and adjusts an imitation vehicle sound based on sound source information, and a sound volume adjusting part adjusts a sound volume with every loudspeaker in response to the travel state, and a sound image adjusting part adjusts a sound image in response to the travel state, and an output control unit outputs the imitation vehicle sound to the loudspeaker based on an adjusting result of respective processing parts, and this imitation vehicle sound producing device is constituted so that the outputted imitation vehicle sound uses a vehicle body surface as a surface sound source.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
