Toy producing imitation smoke, which can be used in childrens vehicles, in which floating bodies 11 are contained in a cylinder 7 equipped with an air-intake orifice and an air-outlet orifice and can be seen from the outside, air being injected into the cylinder 7 via the intake orifice in order to cause the bodies 11 to float and to move in a random manner, characterised in that it comprises a fan 12 driven by a motor 13 for introducing air into the intake orifice and an electrically controlled sound generator 15, the motor 13 and the sound generator 15 being supplied by a common energy source 26 and their start/stop control being provided by means of a common switch.
