WATERPROOF MEMBER FOR CABLE PENETRATING SECTION, METHOD FOR WATERPROOF OF CABLE PENETRATING SECTION USING THE SAME AND WATERPROOF JUNCTION BOX

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof member for a cable penetrating section, which has a simple structure and can be inexpensively manufactured.;SOLUTION: The waterproof member for the cable penetrating section is used for a waterproof junction box which comprises an openable/closable box body and a lid and in which a circular cable inserting hole formed of a pair of semi-circular cuts formed on cable introduction walls of the box body and the lid respectively are formed on a cable introduction wall. In the waterproof member 25, an expanded state keeping plate 27 for keeping a rectangular rubber sheet 26 in a state where the rubber sheet is expanded is attached to the rubber sheet 26, and engaging means 31, 32 for engaging both ends in a state where the rubber sheet 26 is rounded is provided. The waterproof member 25 which is flat before being attached is formed along a cable 11, is rounded to engage both the ends, and is brought into a cylinder surrounding the cable 11 (Fig.10(a)). When the plate 27 is removed (Fig.10(b)), the rubber sheet 26 is shrunk to reduce its diameter and adheres to the outer circumference of the cable 11 (Fig.10(c)), thereby ensuring watertightness.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
