PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more quickly start an internal combustion engine when starting the internal combustion engine loaded on an automobile by using power from a secondary battery in the other automobile. PSOLUTION: When a start side automobile 20 and a power supply side automobile 20B are connected by using a power cable 90 and a communication cable 92 by an operator, and a failure time switch 89 is turned on, a main ECU 70 of the start side automobile 20 transmits a connection instruction signal through the communication cable 92 to the power supply side automobile 20B, and a main ECU 70B of the power supply side automobile 20B which has received the connection instruction signal turns on a system main relay 56, and the main ECU 70 of the start side automobile 20 controls a motor MG1 and an engine so that the engine is started by cranking by the motor MG1 after transmitting the connection instruction signal.
