PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance communication quality by complementing a lost packet even in such a case that the packet is lost, a communication path is instantaneously interrupted in a content distribution network between a transmitter and a receiver when a content of video/audio or the like is subjected to IP transmission.;SOLUTION: The transmitter 100 receives a plurality of packets for transmitting one content each having a sequence number showing a packet sequence and includes three or more transmission ports 120a to 120c. A copying function 110 of the transmitter makes two or more copies of the received packets which are smaller than the transmission ports in number, the plurality of copied packets are distributed to the plurality of transmission ports and distributed by multicast through a plurality of communication paths 300a to 300c, respectively, and a restoring function 220 of the receiver 200 rearranges packets of multicast data received from a plurality of reception ports connected to the respective communication paths in the order of the sequence number and restores the packets to the original one content.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
