PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission with a detent mechanism shortening a shift time by reducing driving force required of a shift actuator in shifting.;SOLUTION: The transmission with the detent mechanism includes detent recesses 7 formed in a plurality of parts of a shift shaft 4; a detent ball 8 facing the detent recess 7 when a sleeve 5 is located in a predetermined position; a spring member 10 mounted to a fixed part 9 and pressing the detent ball 8 toward the shift shaft 4 to fit the detent ball to the detent recess 7; and a relaxing actuator 11 relaxing pressing of the detent ball 8 against the spring member 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
