PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormal cause specifying device specifying the cause of a failure by immediately detecting the failure occurring in a mobile body, an abnormal cause specifying system, and an abnormal cause specifying method.;SOLUTION: This abnormal cause specifying device 4 is applied to trains and specifies the cause of a failure occurring in a device by receiving a measurement value 10 from each of a plurality of devices mounted on a vehicle 1. The abnormal cause specifying device includes a failure determination part 12 which collates a reference value 20 with the measurement value 10 and determines whether the measurement value 10 is normal or not for each device and an abnormal cause specifying part 13 which, for each vehicle 1, specifies whether the failure is caused by the device itself or the other according to the state of distribution of the mounting positions of the defective devices, the measurement values 10 of which are determined abnormal, on the vehicle 1, and which outputs the predetermined cause as the information 14 indicating the cause of the failure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
