PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously lock turning and rotation of all casters installed at the four corners of a furniture bottom surface.;SOLUTION: This lock mechanism includes: installation members 6 for turnably installing the casters 5 on furniture 3; a caster lock mechanism 20 vertically movably storing a braking rod 22 on the turning shaft 13 side via a spring 24 for locking the turning and rotation by advancing-retreating the braking rod 22; shafts 40, 41A and 41B rotatably supported by these installation members 6FR, 6FL and 6RR, 6RL; transmission links 54 and 55 connecting between the front-rear shafts 40, 41A and 41B and transmitting the torque of the front side shaft 40 in the same direction to the rear side shafts 41A and 41B; an operation member 42 installed to the shafts 40A-41B for operating the braking rod 22; and an operation tool 50 connecting one ends 52 and 53 to the front side shaft 40 for rotating the shafts 40, 41A and 41B by operating an operation part 51 extending outside.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
