PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine in which abnormality occurring in a power transmission mechanism having a plurality of drive units, each of which is driven by a motor or the like and used for converting a rotary motion into a linear motion, can be detected by means of strain sensors. PSOLUTION: The injection molding machine includes: a servomotor 10 for an ejector, which drives ball screws 14a, 14b being the plurality of drive units for converting the rotary motion into the linear motion; strain sensors 17a, 17b respectively mounted in bearing housings 16a, 16b being supporting members of the ball screws 14a, 14b; a controller 20 which reads the strain values detected, at the same time, respectively by the strain sensors respectively mounted in the supporting members, discriminates whether the absolute value of a difference between the strain values detected respectively by the strain sensors 17a, 17b respectively mounted in the bearing housings 16a, 16b is larger than a previously set value, and outputs an abnormal signal; and an alarm device 22 for issuing a warning when the abnormal signal is received from the controller 20.
