PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product useful as a material resin powder in a powder sintering shaping method carried out by directing a laser beam of a 5×106 J/m3 or higher energy, capable of providing a shaped article with a high density and a good external appearance while maintaining the characteristics of a styrene resin of impact resistance, low hygroscopicity etc.;SOLUTION: The laser sintering powder comprises (A) a rubber strengthened vinyl resin obtained by polymerizing (b) a vinyl monomer including a (meth)acrylate compound in the presence of (a) a rubbery polymer so as to have a 10 to 200 μm 50% particle size. It has a laser sintering property by radiating a laser beam of a 5×106 J/m3 or higher energy. It is preferable that the powder has an absorbance of a laser beam at a wavelength of 10.6 μm of 0.5 to 2 when the powder is made to a shaped article of 100 μm in thickness.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
