PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cleaning work, or more preferably, to deliciously boil rice by suppressing the bulk of foamed sticky juice boiling over an inner lid, or more preferably, by suppressing the amount of boiling-over sticky juice as well.;SOLUTION: In boiling rice while discharging steam 6 within an inner pot 3 to outside of a device lid 2 through the inner lid 1 and the device lid 2 by using the electric rice cooker 100, the sticky juice 7 is foamed to increase the bulk of the sticky juice within the inner pot 3 in a temperature rising step and in a boil-up step. The volume of the boiling-over sticky juice 7 boiling over the inner lid 1 which closes an opening 13 of the inner pot 3 is suppressed by crushing and/or contracting the foam of the foamed sticky juice.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
