PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste liquid recovering device which can efficiently recover an ink by suppressing a viscosity increase of the ink ejected from a plurality of ink jet heads in an ejection restoration mode.;SOLUTION: The waste liquid recovering device 30 includes a plurality of first waste liquid receivers 31 and a second waste liquid receiver 32. The first waste liquid receivers 31 are arranged below the ink jet heads 13, respectively, having first discharge holes 54 capable of discharging the ink received inside at respective bottom parts 50. The second waste liquid receiver 32 is arranged below the plurality of first waste liquid receivers 31, having an opening 58 capable of receiving the ink discharged from each first discharge hole 54 in the top part, and also having a second discharge hole 60 capable of discharging the ink received inside in the bottom part 56.
