PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing rare earth-transition metal-nitrogen-based magnet powder which can inexpensively and stably produce magnet powder having high characteristics by subjecting a raw material mixture to reduction diffusion reaction, to provide rare earth-transition metal-nitrogen-based magnet powder obtained thereby, to provide a composition for a bond magnet using the same, and to provide a bond magnet.;SOLUTION: Regarding the method for producing rare earth-transition metal-nitrogen-based magnet powder comprising a process where, by a reduction diffusion method, transition metal alloy powder, rare earth oxide powder and a reducing agent for reducing the rare earth oxide are mixed, the mixture is charged to a reaction vessel, and is heated and fired in a nonoxidizing atmosphere so as to reduce the rare earth oxide into rare earth metal, and, thereafter, it is diffused into the transition metal powder so as to obtain the desired reduced-diffused reaction product including a rare earth-transition metal-based master alloy, in the stage where the raw material mixture 3 is charged to the reaction vessel 1, without pressurizing the raw material mixture in the reaction vessel, its volume is reduced by ≥3% by a vibration application device 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
