PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, a method, and a program for creating a regional score DB capable of appropriately representing the importance of names of regions.;SOLUTION: A regional score DB creation device 1 includes: a geographic region specification unit 12 specifying geographic regions indicated by the names of the regions being objects to which scores are given; a score calculation unit 13 calculating higher scores as the specified geographic regions are narrower; a regional score DB 22 in which information specified by the specification unit 12 and the scores calculated by the score calculation unit 13 are stored by associating them with the names of the regions, a click log DB 42 storing the number of clicks as a retrieval result of queries; and a score correction unit 15 correcting the scores so that the larger the number of the clicks stored by being associated with the queries in which the geographic regions associated with the names of the regions are approximately consistent with the geographic regions stored in the click log DB 42 is, the higher the scores become regarding the names of the regions stored in the score DB 22 and storing the corrected score in the score DB 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
