PIPE MATERIAL SUPPORTING METHOD AND PIPE MATERIAL SUPPORTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe material supporting method and a pipe material supporting device capable of simply and safely moving pipe materials, and decreasing the number of processes when accompanied by the machining of the pipe materials.;SOLUTION: A supporting shaft 4 is inserted in the pipe material 2 through a pipe material guide 3 to support the pipe material 2. A front plate 31 and a rear plate 32 constituting the pipe material guide 3 are plate members having holes in which the supporting shaft 4 is inserted. Between the front plate 31 and the rear plate 32, a side plate 33 and a roller 34 are provided. The supporting shaft 4 is held in a holder 5 to freely slide in a sliding cylinder 51 of the holder 5. The sliding of the supporting shaft 4 can be controlled by a sliding stopper 52 provided on the holder 5. The holder 5 is provided at a base portion 54 to rotate about a strut 6. The sliding cylinder 51 is rotatably jornaled by a hinge 53. The pipe material 2 can thereby turn to make its axis horizontal and vertical.
