PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition producible at a low cost and giving a clear and colorless coating film containing amorphous titanium oxide and resistant to cracking, etc.;SOLUTION: The coating composition for forming an amorphous titanium oxide composite coating film contains a compound for forming amorphous titanium oxide as a component (A) and a dissimilar metal compound other than titanium as a component (B). The compound (A) for forming the amorphous titanium oxide is a titanium alkoxide expressed by general formula (I) TiR¹_x(OR²)_4-x (I) (wherein, R¹ is alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, aralkyl or acyl; R² is 1-6C alkyl; and x is an integer of 0-2) and/or its hydrolytic condensation product, and the dissimilar metal compound (B) is aluminum nitrate or its hydrate as a crystallization inhibiting compound for the amorphous titanium oxide.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
