PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intellectual monitoring system for correcting an original image and detecting a moving image part.;SOLUTION: The intellectual monitoring system and an intellectual monitoring method extract an original image with an image sensor 10, corrects the original image, and creates a corrected image. A corrected moving image in the corrected image is detected. An original moving image part in the original image is extracted based on position information in the corrected moving image. Finally, the original moving image part is displayed or stored. In this case, a high resolution panoramic image is extracted and stored by one image sensor. A low resolution panoramic image is created from the high resolution panoramic image and a moving object is detected and positioned. A position area of the moving object in the high resolution panoramic image is positioned anew.
