PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermochromic composition having a naturally achromatizing temperature area naturally achromatizing from coloring state and a coloring retention temperature area retaining coloring state in a temperature area not higher than coloring starting temperature and particularly suitable for temperature-indicating field and a reversible thermochromic microcapsule pigment including the composition.;SOLUTION: The reversible thermochromic composition comprises (1) an electron-donating coloring organic compound, (2) 4-fluoro-4'-hydroxybiphenyl as an electron-accepting compound and (3) a reactive medium deciding arising temperature of color reaction of the components (1) and (2).
