PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous roll of an optical film laminate with slit lines for enhancing product accuracy and manufacturing speed and drastically improving manufacture yield in manufacture of a liquid crystal display element. PSOLUTION: A continuous roll of a continuous web of the optical film laminate with slit lines is used in a system for continuously manufacturing the liquid crystal display element by sticking optically functional film sheets together. The optical film laminate with slit lines includes an optically functional film having an adhesive layer which is subjected to a preliminary inspection and a carrier film releasably laminated to the adhesive layer. In the optical film laminate with slit lines, defect-free normal sheets and defective or defect-containing sheets having predefined length corresponding to dimension of the liquid-crystal panel are defined on the carrier film by successively forming the slit lines by cutting a slit line in a direction vertical to its lengthwise direction.
