PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-cooled cathode-ray tube, which eliminates the possibility of leakage of a cooling liquid and having no need for air existing in a coupler. ;SOLUTION: This production method comprises a coupler liquid leakage inspecting step 20 of measuring the pressure of an air filled in the coupler of the cathode ray tube and inspecting the leakage of a liquid in the coupler, a cooling liquid filling step 30 of filling the cooling liquid in the coupler, a defoaming step 40 of evacuating the air existing in the coupler after the cooling liquid is filled, and a cooling liquid resupply step 50 of resupplying the cooling liquid, losing in quantity with defoaming, up to a prescribed liquid level un the coupler.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
