PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book type display recording medium which is improved in handling property and can prevent related display recording media from scattering, and to provide an image writing device which realizes fast writing in a book type display recording medium. PSOLUTION: The book type display recording medium 20 comprises electronic paper 10 as a display recording medium in a plurality of sheets having the identical structure, and a joint portion 12 which links the electronic paper 10 in a gutter to be spread like a book.
