PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for transforming the graphic image of an object, and to provide a recording medium on which a program for the method is recorded and which can be read by a computer.;SOLUTION: The method comprises a step of determining at least one triangle T1 to be collapsed out of triangles T1-T10 constituting an original object 210, a step of determining a collapse peak V4 to be generated by the collapse of the triangle T1, and a step of converting the graphic image of the original object 210 in accordance with information for the determined triangle T1 to be collapsed and information for the determined collapse peak V4.
