PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and easily transfer data even when an opposite party terminal has no dedicated software, in a data transfer system in which transfer of secret information is requested to the opposite party terminal and the secret information is received.;SOLUTION: A transfer request terminal 101 generates a pack 103 for transfer source obtained by encrypting a transfer pack generation program, a key encrypting key, etc. and sends the pack 103 to a transfer source terminal 102. The transfer source terminal 102 decrypts the pack 103 by a pack decryption program included in the pack 103 and encrypts transfer data by the transfer pack generation program and encrypts a transfer data decryption key for use in decryption of the transfer data by the key encryption key and returns encrypted transfer data, encrypted transfer data decryption key, etc. as a transfer pack 104.
